The purpose of Program Delivery is to provide project management consulting services to OPECS clients. The goal is to build capacity and a knowledge hub that would deliver customized solutions that are futuristic and sustainable, in any given environment. Programme Delivery aims at delivering custom built solutions in both Change and Project Management fields, it seeks to develop skills and competencies that focus on impact of projects consistent with client requirements.
OPECS Professional Services
Currently we’re busy with the Connectivity Project working closely with Vodacom and the Eastern Cape Department of Education.
The mandate of the projects is to accelerate the adoption of change by ensuring that the change recipients understand the change initiative and are taken through the transformation process to get to the desired future state. The process taken is guided by change managed framework and tools designed for OPECS to simplify, manage and build the fundamentals to achieve the desired results.
As Change Management lead in this project we have been able to build relations with a wide spectrum of stakeholders which helped to develop insights and wisdom in leading Change initiatives in the public sector space, this initiative also assisted us to sharpen our delivery tools. Through this project we developed applications that are specifically designed to support ICT rollout projects of massive scales, these tools are Distribution and Insight Application tools. These are OPECS unique tools. Also, our human resource capacity has also evolved to be specialist in their respective areas through the robustness of engagements with respective stakeholders.
Opecs Water
Programme Delivery is currently busy with the rollout of packaged wastewater treatment plant in East Africa (Kenya), the project aims at providing descent sanitation to new housing development in an upmarket area in Kiambu County, the project is scheduled to be completed end of December. n this project, we are working with Jinluo (our strategic partner and IP holder for the Wastewater Treatment Technology). Jinluo is in the top 50 Private Companies in China and the number 1 meat processing company in that country. Program delivery strives to run and deliver projects through the OPECS Way when driving the transformation of change from the current state to the future state, as we aim to lead in providing organizations with means to accelerate the adoption of change and embrace change.
