OPECS Water provides solutions for the wastewater treatment environment, which seeks to tackle the water and sanitation challenges that are facing the entire globe. We provide integrated wastewater treatment technologies that have two distinct characteristics that make them sustainable, efficient and stand out from the rest:

• The plants don’t use any chemicals in the wastewater treatment process.
• There’s nearly zero sludge discharged in the treatment process (in the past 2 years that the plant has been commissioned in the Free State, Glen Agricultural College, no sludge has been discharged)

We offer a range of products of the packaged wastewater treatment plants, our smallest plant treats 70 cubic meters / day and our biggest plant treats 10 000 cubic meters / day.

Our deployment period is reasonable short, which makes us responsive to the current pressing challenges of sanitation. The plant can be commissioned in less than 4 months from the date of receiving an order.

The equipment has a minimum of 20 years warranty with good maintenance, our maintenance team is intensely trained in the technology with two of them having undergone training with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Also our equipment has a remote monitoring mechanism that allows for preventative maintenance.

The quality of the water that is discharged has been proven to meet the national standards/ limits set by the Department of Water and Sanitation.

The effluent from the plant can be re-used for the following:
